n this companion to the award-winning Darius the Great Is Not Okay, Darius suddenly has it all: a boyfriend, an internship, a spot on the soccer team. It's everything he's ever wanted--but what if he deserves better?

Darius Kellner is having a bit of a year. Since his trip to Iran, a lot has changed. He's getting along with his dad, and his best friend Sohrab is only a Skype call away. Between his first boyfriend, Landon, varsity soccer practices, and an internship at his favorite tea shop, things are falling into place.

I have grown so attached to Darius and his entire family.i am glad that Adib Khorram has blessed us with a sequel to this wonderful story. Khorram managed to write stories that aren’t sad but still made me cry.

The book is well written just like the first one, Darius The Great is Not Okay, and is really a coming to age novel. So much is on Darius’ mind, from his boyfriend pressuring Darius to have sex, while he is not ready, to his parents who are overworked and struggling to keep everyone afloat. Darius grandfather who is dying back in Iran and Sohrab, who keeps ignoring his Skype calls, to probably liking Chip.

I would have loved to see more of Sohrab and get to to the bottom of what’s really eating him up. Hopefully Khorram considered blessing is with a spin-off about Sohrab new life in the near future, fingers crossed for that one. I personally left like the novel was a cliffhanger, might as well get a third book, who knows? Is there more to Sohrab? What happenes to Chip and Darius? What will Darius decide once his done with high school?
